I love to shoot people in all situations and really enjoy setting up studio and location with lighting for special occasions where the client has a brief for me to follow. Sometimes the requirements of a brief make your creativity flow in unexpected ways. I am new to the intricasies of glamour and fashion photography but over the last half of 2011 I had the wonderful opportunity of shooting a few fashion shoots as well as commercial product using fashion models and I really enjoyed the process and got some great results. But equally as rewarding are the times when something or someone just looks great and you have a vision that you want to capture and in that moment you become creative.
Families & Children
I love to make images with families their children and pets. It gives us all a lovely experience to remember and great images to show future generations. We all have a great time and produce some fine memories for their albums.
Landscapes and Nature
Landscapes and Nature have always been the most accessible for me and like most people these are the first things you line your lens up on. A really great image though needs that special light or angle of approach, this is what I try and capture to show the beauty that's there the way I see it and thereby creating even more beauty to share with the world. Many of my images grace the walls of homes as large prints to enhance the decor and living space to make us feel a part of the world.
Food for the soul
Having been a chef for over 40 years I still love the allure of well presented food and I know you can't just point the camera and shoot to make it look appetising. With my knowledge & skill at preparing and presenting food my aim is to work with food stylists and produce quality food images for publication and web sites.
